Captaincy

Blimy........ talk of captains for next year!!!
Does that mean the meal will be a chance for some early canvassing or deal brookering.

Could this mean we have a vote at the AGM for the job for the first time.....Well ever in my time.

Update!!!

With the league been re-done, it looks unlikely anyone will go down from League 3. Elton Vale currently sit bottom of the league after East Lancs beat Chew Moore Brook at the weekend. Elton Vale do have a game in hand which is this Saturday against Greenfield. Broadway finnished the season as champions of League 3, and East Lancs won the last 6 competition.

Main thing is WE ARE SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next season we have to go up a gear. We have to perform from game one!!! Batters have to keep scoring runs and Bowlers need to improve, With Rob back all next season its to be hoped he can find that form that got him 40 wickets last season, Hopefully Cotters will be in team 2 more often and i am hoping to take more wickets and get a look in from game one rather than game 6!!!

2nd Team Night Out

I've made a decision on behalf of TSJCC 2nd's that our night out will be on Saturday 16th September, but where we go is up to you guys.
The options are chinese at the China Cottage in Ramsbottom, Indian at the Nila in Rawtenstall, indian at the one opposite the shoulder of mutton in Holcombe or the chinese next to the robin in totty.
I did text some people last night and all but one came back with chinese.
I need to know asap so that i can make a booking.
Please comment below your choice and availability.
Just thought I'd mention that I will be present where ever we go.
