2nd Team Night Out
I've made a decision on behalf of TSJCC 2nd's that our night out will be on Saturday 16th September, but where we go is up to you guys.
The options are chinese at the China Cottage in Ramsbottom, Indian at the Nila in Rawtenstall, indian at the one opposite the shoulder of mutton in Holcombe or the chinese next to the robin in totty.
I did text some people last night and all but one came back with chinese.
I need to know asap so that i can make a booking.
Please comment below your choice and availability.
Just thought I'd mention that I will be present where ever we go.

Lisa, I understand you taking upon yourself to organise this and picking a date, but we can't go out with out the vice skip and the top run scorer. Although perfect for me as my other half is at a wedding. Can everybody blog all available dates - not including the 16th.
I can do any up until christmas! Are we really breaking the long standing tradition of boys only?
So is it the majority opinion that another date be chosen? If so when?
Lisa is coming as part of the 2nd xi team..... as a past scorer and offering to do teas its only fair. Perhaps Abby could come if Daddy will let her!!

Despite previous wife/girlfriend involvement with the club, the 2nd X1 team night out was always the "team only", as Lesley will confirm. Whilst I appreciate Smiffy's comments I don't want to cause a row so feel free to go out when you want! Shunter
Although it would be better if Mike & Stu could be there, whatever weekend is chosen somebody will not be available. Personally I will be available next saturday and most saturdays after that as I am a social outcast! Am happy for Lisa to be there as someone who has supported us all season. For the same reason I would be happy for Lesley to be there and Abbie if she was a bit older (although I think she would find us oldies all a bit boring!)
Maybe the qualification for everyone should be based on number of games attended! - not a serious comment.
Whenever we decide, I hope we get a great turnout & have another crackin' night.

30th would have been great for me it meant that nick wouldn't have had to take me out for my b-day(hint, hint!!!)

Lisa, sorry if you've been upset by my comments but the team night out has always been boys only and always has been the on-pitch team only. Telling people that things are changing really needs wider consultation but I assumed that's what this blog was about!!!
