Fixtures for April and May

Here are the fixtures for April and May:
24th April @ Woodbank cc,

1st May home stokes cup Cheatham Hill cc,

7th May home Cheatham Hill cc,

14th May @ Broadway cc,

15th May @Greenmount cc,

21st May @ Rochdalians cc,

28th May home Chew Moor Brook cc,

A quick look at the opening fixtures show St.Johns to have a tough introduction to div iii.
Away trips to Woodbank, Broadway, Greenmount and Rochdalians with sandwich in the middle the double visit of Cheatham Hill means some great grounds to play at and a good impression of what to expect from this division. Most interesting and anticipated fixture is probbley the trip around the corner for the derby match against Greenmount. This match between TSJCC 2nds and Greenmount III team will be, i'm sure as important to them as us.
The 28th May sees the champs of div iii visit the runners up and a chance of revenge as Chew Moor Brook did the double on Totty last year.

Alas Smith and Jones

It is the job of newly elected 2nd team skipper Andy 'the playboy' Smith to cement the 2nd XI postion in the 3rd division and if possible push for a second promotion in 2 years. His able side kick for the campaign is Micky ' 2nd XI legend' Jones, who was last years vice captain and past skipper. This team maybe indanger from the off as the 1st team have cast thier eyes upon Mr Jones as a replacement opener for 1st teamer keiran coe who unfortunatly broke his leg and is out for the season. Watch this space for the braking news on this matter.

The likely squad for the 2nds for the most part of the season is: Andy Smith (captain), Mick Jones (vice-captain), Matt 'the jedi'Ablett, Rob Ablett, Mike Ainscoe, Pete 'yankey' Duckworth (until he emigrates), Nick Fletcher (thats me), Graham Fletcher (the old man), Rob 'superman' Holt, Nick Hudson, Ste 'shunts' Hunter, Ste Moriarty (last seasons skip), Danny Moriarty, Phil 'rowdy' Yates.

possible additions are new lads; Shalom Sirangham, Maurice Price and ever hope full that we can prise him out the house, my brother Alex Fletcher. Sanjay Addla is an outside possiblity.
