TSJCC 0pt CMBCC 5pts

Dispite an excellent fielding display and heroics with the ball from Graham Fletcher,Totty came away from this match with nothing. The nine men of the 2nds put on 127 which seemed alittle short at the time and was proven so. Jones top scored with 36 and the Fletcher pair added 45 between them, but there was only small contributions else where. Hunter and Brockway's batting were missed and the fact that Totty only had nine meant they were doubly missed. The wicket had proved to be lively in the 1st innigs and contiuned to be so in CMBCC innigs. Quick wickets fell and Totty players start to believe in a possible win, but Chew Moor Brook's middle order put them in a winning position. There was late drama as wicket again fell quickly leaving CMBCC tail to scrape a win with one wicket and a dozen or so balls remaining.
The nine men all fielded well and it was a close run thing, but at the end of the day it reads TSJCC 0pts! This is the important thing and needs to be changed if we want to play division III cricket next year.
