Rain put an end to this game in the end after both teams tried to get the game played. The match was reduced to 26 overs but was abandoned with 3 overs left of Totty innings.

Totty scored quickly with the openers Jones and Ainscoe taking singles at every opportunity and playing some risky cut shots against some nippy bowling at times. With only 26 overs, Totty had to take whatever they could so wickets were bound to fall. Jones was first bowled after a good start, Yates came and went for not many, but didn't go up his hill (too wet maybe). Ainscoe went next, caught at deep point(?). Hunter hit quick 26 before hauling out to deep mid on (i think). Brockway used his experience to race to 15 before being plum LBW. This left the skipper and 2nd XI batting averages winner elect, N.Fletcher (if this doesnt get me up the order i dont know what will) at the middle when the rain became to heavy and the game was eventually abandoned with 3 overs of Totty's innings left.
